Enhanced Foreign National Underwriting Program Now Available at Global Atlantic

In the past, Foreign National cases were almost binary in their success or failure depending on finding the one carrier that would “do the deal”. Today, it is a much more nuanced discussion that focuses on differentiating the various carriers that can take a case. As of last week, Global Atlantic may win on both fronts, competing for cases that other carriers may not be able to handle as well as delivering superior consumer value in competitive situations. Read on for the details!

Just what did Global Atlantic do? Try this on for size:

  • Living Benefits added for “B” countries like China, Mexico, Colombia, Thailand and Vietnam
  • Minimum age reduced to age 18
  • Telephonic Inspection Reports eliminated for most cases
  • Premium finance allowed, subject to a minimum net worth and the balance of Global Atlantic’s premium finance guidelines.
  • Translation fees reimbursed up to $250 when a case is placed
  • Power of Attorney form simplifies policy delivery, communication and more
  • Aviation now considered for “A” countries
  • Bank/Brokerage Account nexus reduced to $100,000

This is great news for any year-end Foreign National cases, and the official release from Global Atlantic will give you the additional detail needed to see if they are a fit for that case on your desk!
